Stars, Stripes, and Scrumptious Eats: M Culinary Lights Up WestWorld for the 4th of July!
The spirit of America was sizzling at WestWorld this 4th of July, and M Culinary Concepts was right in the heart of the action! We’re still buzzing from the incredible energy and all the happy faces enjoying delicious food, exciting entertainment, and a truly unforgettable celebration.
A Culinary Salute to Independence Day
Our talented chefs pulled out all the stops, serving up a patriotic feast that satisfied every taste bud. From classic all-beef hot dogs and juicy hamburgers to melt-in-your-mouth barbecue brisket sandwiches and satisfying veggie burgers, there was something for everyone. Classic sides like chips and salsa, potato salad, and mixed green salad rounded out the menu, while refreshing slices of watermelon and warm apple cobbler provided the perfect sweet ending.
Chef Michael DeMaria was a star, featured in different TV segments, showcasing his creative genius and dedication to making this year’s celebration extra special.
But the real showstopper? Our incredible American flag made entirely of cupcakes! This wasn’t your average cupcake display. Each star and stripe was meticulously crafted, requiring a monumental team effort and some impressive ingredient statistics.
Here’s a glimpse behind the scenes:
1,442 cupcakes total: That’s a lot of red, white, and blue batter!
15 pounds of shortening: Keeping those cupcakes moist and delicious.
33.5 pounds of cake flour: The base for a light and fluffy cake.
42 pounds of granulated sugar: Adding sweetness to celebrate our nation’s freedom.
14 ounces of baking powder and 14 ounces of salt: The perfect balance for a well-risen and flavorful cupcake.
26.5 pounds of whole milk: Ensuring a smooth and creamy batter.
20 pounds of eggs: Adding richness and structure to the cupcakes.
14 ounces of vanilla: A touch of pure vanilla extract to elevate the flavor.

Sustainable Celebrations: A Win-Win for All
We’re incredibly proud to announce that through our partnership with R City, we were able to collect a whopping 3,640 pounds of compostable material at the event! This commitment to sustainability demonstrates our dedication to minimizing our environmental impact and celebrating responsibly.
A Day Filled with Fun for the Whole Family
It wasn’t just about the food! WestWorld came alive with a variety of activities that kept everyone entertained. Kids enjoyed face painting, tucker hat making, and even a chance to train with the Queen of the Realm and her knights from Medieval Times! State Farm joined the fun with a bobblehead-making station, while the whale family reveled in the water balloon toss and the thrilling rodeo displays featuring mutton busting, bronco riding, and bull riding.
Celebrating Our Heroes
A highlight of the evening was the Parade of Heroes, where we recognized local community members who have made a significant impact on Arizonans. Presented by Mill for the fifth year, this heartwarming tribute brought the spirit of community front and center, reminding us of the true meaning of independence. Heroes are honored in seven categories: Safety, Fire Safety, Veterans, Health, Entrepreneur, Neighborhoods, Innovation and Community.
Each honoree was recognized on stage and received an award.
