G Collection is a rare and unique entertainment and dining venue that is sure to amaze and impress even the most discriminating clientele. This venue is an experience in entertaining that is unmatched anywhere in the world. The central focal point of this experience is a world-class classic automobile collection. A second underlining theme is an appreciation and respect for collectible antiques and rare, historically significant, antiquities.
The museum was built to house the private collection of Scott Gauthier, internationally acclaimed jewelry designer, and car collector. It serves as a full restoration shop for his collection as well as a private event space. The venue features many special surprises. It is a multi-roomed, multi-layered party experience. The first room upon entering is the G Collection Gift Shop. A champagne and wine gathering can be enjoyed as your guests are surrounded by many rare and unique antiques. Gifts that are either automotive in theme, such as clothing, rare automotive books, or antique memorabilia, can be enjoyed or purchased. There are also rare mineral specimens, fossils, antique coins and original handmade pieces of Gauthier jewelry to consider. For those more interested in true antiquities, there is a collection of ancient bronze swords, Romans glass, Chinese sculpture, and Greek vessels dating back thousands of years that are also for sale.
Next is the entry into the Automotive Museum. The cars on display are some of the rarest cars in history. The main focus of the collection are European, hand-made, Zagato bodied cars. These cars are all very unique and many are one of a kind. The general period highlighted is 1905’s-1960’s and features cars that have important racing histories. A small plaque explains the significance of each car. Along the perimeter of the car collection is a sampling of Scott Gauthier’s handmade jewelry designs that are available for view or purchasing. All of this can be enjoyed after your guests are served a beverage of their choice from The Lounge.
The Lounge features a hand-painted bar-top created using automotive paint. The spacious area has seating for 50 guests (additional seating can accommodate up to 120). There are five large flat-screen televisions and a professional sound system that can be utilized for your needs. A full DJ booth overlooks the entire lounge area.
A private Game Room for your guests use is situated just off the lounge. The Game Room features many interactive games such as air hockey, ping pong, and a shuffleboard made in 1949. There are also many classic video games in the game room and around the lounge, from Missile Command to Pac Man from Joist to Golden Tee. The Game Room is a fun trip down memory lane.
As you leave the Game Room you pass a classic Beer Can Collection from Scott Gauthier’s youth. These beer cans are from the late 1800’s through the 1970’s- guests are always blown away by this fun collection!
The next large area to experience is The Barn. It features all original, unrestored cars. The cars are all very rare and will someday be restored and make their way into the museum. There is also information on each car and multiple engines on display to enjoy. The Barn and this unique automotive collection is always a favorite spot of both motoring enthusiasts and the general public.
The surprises continue as your guests enter the elegant restrooms. The women’s features antique perfume bottles from the late 1800’s through the 1950’s. The men’s restroom showcases a large collection of antique cigarette lighters.
The overall space has the same attention to detail, sophisticated attitude and commitment to excellence that has made Scott Gauthier known throughout both the jewelry and car collector worlds.
