Uniform Guide

  • Shirt: Area-specific shirt provided at orientation.
  • Bay Club & Greenskeeper: White or Khaki pants (search Amazon for golf pants to find reasonably-priced options). White golf skirts of an acceptable length. No black pants and no leggings of any color, no shorts of any color.
  • All Other Venues: Black or Khaki pants or leggings (no rips, tears, denim, fraying, mesh, cutouts). White golf skirts of an acceptable length. No shorts of any color.
  • There are no exceptions to the above uniforms. If you are not in the proper uniform, you will be sent home and not allowed to return that day.
  • Shoes: Black or white non-slip sneakers. Please wear comfortable shoes, you will be walking around a golf course and up and down stairs.

Appearance

  • Clean uniform, hair tied up if long, minimal jewelry.
  • Men: Clean-shaven or neatly trimmed facial hair.

Parking Pass

  • Credential acts as your parking pass.
  • Obtain credentials daily during check-out for the next day.

2026 Tip Policy & Process

 Scope:

Cocktail servers, bartenders, and barbacks at the WM Phoenix Open.  

  1. Daily Device Allocation
    • Each cocktail server will be issued a Ronin device daily for use on the course.
    • Devices will be distributed each morning at the designated cash room located at the Greenskeeper/Bay Club bar.
    • Devices must be signed out at the start of the cocktail server’s shift and must be returned at the end of the shift.
  2. Appropriate Use
    • Ronin devices are to be used only as needed in situations where a client does not have cash or prefers not to use cash to leave a tip.
    • Cocktail servers must inform clients that if they wish to use a credit card to leave a tip, a 5% fee will be added to the transaction.
    • Ronin Devices: The devices are intended for use by cocktail servers only and strictly on an exception basis to accommodate client requests for non-cash tips.

Prohibited Use of Peer-to-Peer Payment Apps

  • The use of any peer-to-peer digital cash transfer apps, including but not limited to Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or similar platforms, is strictly prohibited.
  • All tips must be reported and accepted in cash or processed through the provided Ronin device only.

Tip-Out Process

  1. Cocktail Servers
    • At the end of each shift, cocktail servers must tip out 25% of their total tips to the tip pool in their area.
  2. Area Tip Pool Distribution Bartenders, Barbacks, and Suite Captains
  3. Tip Pools (by area)
    1. Bayclub and Greenskeeper
    2. Scorekeeper, Perch and N9NE
    3. Members 17, Members 18 and Patriots

The M Culinary administration team will collect tip jar tips throughout the day. These tips will be counted and documented and combined with the cocktail server tip out the following day. Distribution of that area tip pool will be according to the following percentages:

  • 75% to Bartenders
  • 20% to Barbacks
  • 5% to Suite Captains in areas where M Culinary manages the alcoholic beverage service (Greenskeeper; Bay Club; Scorekeeper; Perch; New Nine; Members 9, 12, 17 & 18; and Patriots)

Compliance

Any non-compliance with this Tip Policy and Process, including without limitation the tip out process or the use of prohibited peer-to-peer payment apps (e.g., Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, etc.) will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
